I was looking at (what I thought was going to prison for the rest of my life, so I built a bomb with the intent of taking out everyone I could get, as well as myself if I couldn't get out of the courthouse......I didn't take it, and I didn't go to prison......then I blew $55,000 and lost everything, then during a fight with my Gf I hung myself......I have lived on the streets, and was so out of it I passed out next to the highway......why am I telling you all of these things you might be wondering....because those were all times I thought my world was colapsing, and I didn't see any way out but death..... Thank God I didn't die...and I am still here to tell you that no matter what your facing now...(while I don't know what all your going through, I understand the feelings not the exact ones your having but the feeling of nothing is working, out of options wore out tired of fighting, panicked beyond words and just ready to die.) I've been there multiple times in life, the events came, and I made it through them. looking back I know it had to be the grace of God i made it, though at the time you never could have convinced me of that. I say all that to say this, whatever your going through, you can make it through. you will survive, and even if everything is lost, you can rebuild. if you "throw in the towel" there is no rebuilding, and it makes things worse on those left behind....it leaves them with no hope, and shatterd emotionally.

I have the honor of eulogizing someone I knew better than anyone else.
You could say I knew him as well as I know myself.
Lets start this out by taking a look at his life.
Monday through Sunday this man was high.
Pills, alcohol, heroin,weed,speed,and hallucinagins.
Just when it looked like he was coming back, another shot and he was gone again.
As if the drugs weren't bad enough.
You should hear what he did to get tha stuff.
Don't listen to him tell it though.
He wouldn't know the truth if it ran over him with a backhoe.
Yea, that's right, he was a liar, and a thief to boot.
A no good swindler, just a plain bad dude.
I could go on telling you of his life the heartache,depression,self hatred and strife.
But I prefer to move on to how he died.
Woa! you can't do that! it's breaking eulogy rules!
Be patient with me, I know.
But this is important because in his death there is hope.
It was 10 something at night February 2nd 2011.
It was only by the grace of God this man wasn't high again.
What he was doing though was talking to a friend about his soul.

Clearly God is dealing with you, cry out to Him now.
I..I...I want to talk to God, but I don't know how.
He knelt down and cried to Jesus to forgive him of his sins.
The Lord heard and answered prayer by casting spirits out of him.
Once they were gone Jesus filled his soul with peace.
He knew he was forgiven, from his old life he'd been set free.
Whatever your going through, no matter what you've done.
There's nothing that cannot be conquered by God's only begotten Son.
He gave His life that all might live.
But to live we have to die.
Die to sin, die to self, and be wholly sanctified.
Some say that's impossible that we cannot be perfect in this life.
It all starts by coming to Jesus and being washed in his blood.
Along with that comes a new heart, new eyes, and a new mind.
Plus a measure of His Spirit to guide us in this life.
We are armed with His word, and a knowledge of His will.
Supported by His grace for the self we've left to kill.
Once we have with the Spirits help.
FULLY slain all self.
The Holy Ghost comes in and makes our heart His home.
He leads us and He guides us along life's narrow way.
He's the connection with God that turns our night to day.
When you kneel down to talk to Jesus be sure that you pray through.
Speak from your heart, say whatever comes to your mind.
Most importantly don't give up till your filled with peace in this life.
That's the burden of guilt an sin being washed away.
Hold on to that because you just. got. saved.
Daily nurture your relationship with the Lord, talk to Him read your Bible pray,and seek His will.
All the promises of the Bible He will fulfill.
The man this poem spoke of is me. I had all those drug issues, I had an over 8 year diagnosis from pathways of :severe anxiety,severe depression, moderate nightmares\flashbacks,social phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, chronic PTSD, agoraphobia, Intermittent explosive disorder, Bipolar I which became Bipolar II with psychotic episodes. I was on 5 medications (most of them two times a day) as well as on a monthly anti psychotic shot. I'd spent 3 years in prison been in 5 in patient drug rehabs as well as a lot of out patient ones, I had been to 4 or 5 psych wards, I had attempted suicide multiple time the last one was hanging myself, I had a severe self mutilation problem, I was a two time college drop out I never even completed a semester. as of February 2nd 2011 I have not used any drugs not even cigarettes. I am no longer required to take any of my psych medications, I am in college completing my second block (my 16th week they are accelerated courses so the semesters aren't the same as in a standard college and as of right now I have gotten all A's my math final has yet to come back and I didn't feel very prepared for that, so now I might have one B) My parole officer who has been on the job almost long enough to retire says he couldn't say anything bad about me if he tried. I say all this to show that God is the reason all this has taken place, and to try to add more evidence that this isn't just something I woke up one day and decided to stop doing. While school, and the things i'm doing because God has opened the doors for me is great, but not the best or most important thing. I know have a relationship with the God of the universe, I can talk to Him, and He answers me, He guides me through life, and teaches me daily. He comforts me, and protects me. God is good. I could talk about the goodness of God, and how He helps me and guides me all day. There are still trials and battles to face, but I have hope now, and God is on my side, He hows me what I need to do and makes a way for me to do it. God is good. May the Lord bless all who read this.

in response to Janxx... I have been where you are, I hated myself, I felt alone, and lonely. I was on several psychiatric medications, I had been diagnosed with bi polar, depression, anxiety, ptsd, I didn't feel like i was worth anything, I hung myself it got so bad, i am no longer on my psych meds i am happy with my life, and with myself. I am no longer on any street drugs, and i am in college, what it took for e was giving my life to the Lord, not just praying, but praying and asking god to show me what to say, and I prayed until He answered my prayer, and filled my soul with peace. He can do the same for you, that is only a small list of what God has done for me. if you choose not to go that route, i recommend positive thinking, and realizing you deserve to be loved, and respected, take the time you have, to do some soul searching, get to know yourself and what you enjoy, find out what is important to you and what you want out of life and go for it. I say all this knowing that the feelings your having can be paralyzing, medicine and positivity didn't help me. don't run from yourself, embrace who you are, get aquainted with yourself, and learn to love you for you, I realized no matter what i did I would be making someone unhappy, so I follow God, do my best to do His will, I read the Bible, and I pray. If you decide to try to find God, pray and keep praying until He answers, you will know because you will be filled with peace, thats how you'll know your saved. it's called praying through. anything short is emotionalizim, also, trust God and listen to Him and His word, He will guide you get to know the bible for yourself, that way when false christians try to mislead you you will be so close to God that He will guide you in the way that is right, follow the Holy Ghost not some man, men are fallible. To be a christian means to be Christlike, to be Christlike is to have no sin in your life, if people are going around raping other people, and starting wars and spreading hatred, and killing people then they are sinning, and therefore not a christian despite what they say.... that makes them a false professor, a hypocrite. sadly there are ALOT of those in the world. it would be like me putting on a police officers uniform and running around writing tickets I can say i'm a cop and write all the tickets i want, I'm sure I could even fool alot of people, but the bottom line is I don't meet the requirements for being a cop, therefore in the eyes of the law not only am i not a cop but I am in jeopardy of having legal action brought upon me. The same is true for christians, there are alot of people who don't know what it means to be a christian.... they are still in their sins, and living as the world lives, content to sin everyday....they are doing the atrocities you speak of, and being "judgmental" (if you mean judging a person) (christians are supposed to judge sin, and call it for what it is however) it's best described as love the sinner hate the sin, and even then it's not about judging them for said sin, it's about letting people know they don't have to live in there sin and that Jesus came and died for their sins rose again and has ascended to heaven and is sitting at the right hand of His Father to give all who come to Him and follow Him remission from their past sins and victory over sin in the future meaning they no longer have to sin... however if they choose to continue to sin, then they are not christians......I do believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. I personally know Jesus lives, because He has saved my soul and cast demons out of me. since I gave my life to the Lord I am a new man I have a new life, I have peace and I have the Holy Ghost to guide and direct me in understanding Gods will for me in my life, as well as for Guiding me into understanding His word, the Bible. I have also seen the things you speak of in people and false churches and i am aware of the destruction and havoc that false religion is doing to the world. i know how it is blinding peoples eyes to what the truth is, and how it in posing as the way of truth is one not only making it harder and harder fr people to truly get in touch with God because man rule is taking over, it is turning people from God. it is a sad thing, but the Bible warns about such things. and lets people who have an honest heart know that God is still alive and a relationship with Jesus and allowing Him to come into their heart, and guide them through life not looking at what people say you should do or think should be done but going through life by the guidance of the Holy Ghost and staying in constant contact with God is the only way. there are a million different ways to interpret the scriptures, if you are looking for discrepancies, you will find them....if your looking to prove a point and get someone told, you can twist the scriptures to fit that as well, if you are looking to create a doctrine and get people to follow you, you can take the word out of context and do that as well, but the only way to truely know what the scriptures say and how they pertain to you and your life is through the guidance and direction of the Holy Ghost and an honest pure heart that wants to please God. thats why it is important to search the scriptures for yourself and get b4 God and ask Him to give you understanding, and not look at what the masses say or what someone who went to college to learn the Bible but was never ordained by God to expound the scripture and dosen't have the Holy Ghost and isn't even saved and not a christian yet still professing and teaching says. I know God is real, I know Jesus lives I know the changes He has made in me, and that He continues to talk to me, and guide me through life. if you have any questions, i would be happy to talk to you. I don't expect to change your mind about anything, but I know this, if you ever let Jesus into your life, you will know He is real, there won't be a doubt in your mind. as far as atrocities happening to people all over the world.... you don't know their backgrounds, you don't know that some of them aren't in heaven now praising and rejoicing, and you could offer them the whole world to come back and they wouldn't. you also don't know if the others that died were apostate and would have never came to God. and, you don't know how many people turned to God because of things that have or have not happened. we can't know how things that happen affect those around us in the long term, all we know is what we see in the here and now, for instance me losing my hand was an horrible thing, there seemed to be no reason for it, but God spared my life because of a prayer, and then I went through ten years of hell including hanging myself, and trying to kill myself in other ways, as well as hating the world and wanting to kill everybody in it, i blew $55,000 on stuff i didn't need, and drugs, i lost my home and almost all I owned, thats horrible right, but it all led me to finding God and having true peace in my soul, and the peace I have now, the freedom from the drugs depression flashbacks 10+ years documented mental health issues like bi polar depression anxiety, ptsd flashbacks psycosis and other stuff is worth everything i went through, and not only that, because i've gone through it and know God delivers (that is only a small portion of what i've been delivered form) I can help other people in the same or similar situations. I can tell the world about the peace that God gives to His people. I can tell people about what it means to be a true christian, and show them that following Jesus and having the holy Ghost guide you is more important than what some man says. yes I am a man, but i'm not saying follow me, i'm saying look to Jesus He has the answers and i know because this is what He has done for me. God is alive today He is no harder to find than He has even been, but people because of the distractions of the world, and the damage done by false religion, are having trouble finding Him. please remember just because someone claims to be a christian dosen't mean they are, no matter how good they look if there is sin in their life they are not a christian, they are a hypocrite and a false professor, avoid them. God is good, He will never let you down. look to the Lord, ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins, and show you how He would have you live. read your bible, scriptures say draw nigh to god an He will draw nigh to you. seek to know God personally, and don't give up until you do. God will guide you. look to Him, and not to how other people view him and not what the world says trust God to guide you. if you have any questions, or need to talk i'm glad to listen. Lord bless you

when I love something, how is it apart of my life? well, when I was in love with drugs, I thought about them, sought after them, talked about them, told people how great they were, gathered them to m, learned what i could about them, how to get em who had em where and when to find em how to make em how to buy and sell so i wouldn't run out if i could help it. same when I was in love with videogames, I thought about them, found out all i could about them, told people about them, played them all the time, stayed up till all hours of the night playing them, did my best to get better and better at them, showed other people the tricks I knew about the game to help them get better at them, and encouraged them along. same thing pretty much with whatever I love or got excited about or was "into" AND THOU SHAL LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, since God has delivered me from sin, and cast spirits out of me, I should be SEEKING HIM, how to know more of Him, what pleases Him, talking to people about Him, telling them what He's done for me, and how great He is, and that He wants to do the same thing for them, that He loves them. i should be SHARING WHAT i KNOW WITH PEOPLE TO HELP THEM GET IN touch with GOD. I should be thinking about His laws and seeking to please Him more and more. Do all i can to draw nearer to Him. ENCOURAGE people to get closer to HIM . before God saved my soul, my life was dedicated to doing what (i thought i wanted....in reality i was serving the devil doing what he told me when he told me to) i fed anger and raged and hatred , I lusted after everything.. women, possessions,men,sick twisted perverted things,drugs,pain,pleasure, to hurt myself, to hurt others. I game myself to the desires of my flesh, of my mind, and of the devil. (we know anything not of God is of the devil and the things I was doing and thinking certinly were not of God.) in doing so i became bound with spirits and only God in His mercy and love could release me. praise God He did! no since He has freed me from my chains and saved my soul, i know His word says if i go back to serving the devil by doing the things Jesus blood freed me from then i will be bound again by devils and not only the ones i had but sevan worse than the first
Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Mat 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Mat 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
this is saying, if after God has delivered me, I go back to my old ways I will be brought back into bondage, and not only to where i was but 7 times worsebecause of other spirits brought in. how do we keep this by happening well if i've been delivered from drugs it's not simply by not doing drugs anymore, or anything i may have been delivered from for that matter, it's prevented by being filled with the Holy Spirit of God, and having a close relationship with Him. then when the spirits that were cast out try to come back in like a flood, thw Holy Spirit of God will raise up a standard against them and they will have to depart not being able to enter.
Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
(i put all isaiah 59:19 in here but we r only refering to the second part of it. )
I have personally witnessed this, I was sitting in my room reading a book, one afternoon I don't remember now it seems like only a couple months after i had been saved, when my eyes shut, and I saw without seeing this head, with like a trail behind it i thought it was me but it wasen't me it was just something i recognized, i knew it was dead whatever it was it got closer to me my eyes filled with tears, and the Holy Spirit rebuked the devil in Jesus name (that rebuking came from within me but not from my mind it happened quicker that i could have thought it) from beginning of what i described to the rebuking and it going away from me took less than a second. it all happened in what seemed like the blink of an eye. then came the devil saying your going to hell now, you just rebuked the Holy Spirit (immediatly after it was rebuked and i started trying to figure what had happened that voice came) let me tell you i was very shook up. i called my pastor and told him what had happened and that i thought it was the spirits that had been cast out ofme trying to come back then he gave me the isa 59:19, and told me that in my heart i knew what had happened. praise God! he also proceeded to tell me he had similer happen to him. I say all this to get the point across, I was wholly giving to what i loved, and now that God has saved my soul, i should be wholly given to Him, this dosen't mean saying "i love Jesus" then going and doing whatever we want to do.
1Jn_3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
this means submitting my will wholly to God giving Him my all.
Mar 10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
( my desire for a wife must be laid aside, my desire to have a good job and a house and a secure place to raise a family must be let go of all in the name of Jesus to seek Him and His will first above all else.

Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Mat_7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
this is a promise of God He will guide you and me in the ways we should God if WE seek. read Gods word cultivate your spiritual marriage to Christ.
Luk 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. ...... if your loins are girded and your lights are burning you are in communion with God and your will is submitted to His, you have a walking talking relationship with Him, and when He tells yoou something (knocks) then you hear and obey (answer to Him immediatly) you are listening for what He wants yoou to do and waiting on Him, rather than ignoring Him and seeking what you want and what you would rather do.
the Bible says for us not to seek after our own things or to worry about whatever we may have going on, but look to Him. can not the One who hung the stars in the sky and put the waters in their place who seperated heaven and earth take care our our little needs!.........does this mean that i am never to have a family or a place to stay? no, i don't know what God has planned for you or me. but it means don't worry about those things, seek God first above all else to His will. the devil will try to get us so bound up in the what if's and the i need's and so focused on ourselves that we drift away from God because we are not focused on Him and when God comes to talk to us then we don't hear Him, and when we try to talk to God we can't hear him because we have gotten away from him, then here comes the devil attacking us to destroy our souls.... God wants us to always be close to Him. looking at what little we have or how we can't see how things are going to work out is a lack of faith on our part God is the God of impossibilities
Mat_19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

when I love something, how is it apart of my life? well, when I was in love with drugs, I thought about them, sought after them, talked about them, told people how great they were, gathered them to m, learned what i could about them, how to get em who had em where and when to find em how to make em how to buy and sell so i wouldn't run out if i could help it. same when I was in love with videogames, I thought about them, found out all i could about them, told people about them, played them all the time, stayed up till all hours of the night playing them, did my best to get better and better at them, showed other people the tricks I knew about the game to help them get better at them, and encouraged them along. same thing pretty much with whatever I love or got excited about or was "into" AND THOU SHAL LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, since God has delivered me from sin, and cast spirits out of me, I should be SEEKING HIM, how to know more of Him, what pleases Him, talking to people about Him, telling them what He's done for me, and how great He is, and that He wants to do the same thing for them, that He loves them. i should be SHARING WHAT i KNOW WITH PEOPLE TO HELP THEM GET IN touch with GOD. I should be thinking about His laws and seeking to please Him more and more. Do all i can to draw nearer to Him. ENCOURAGE people to get closer to HIM . before God saved my soul, my life was dedicated to doing what (i thought i wanted....in reality i was serving the devil doing what he told me when he told me to) i fed anger and raged and hatred , I lusted after everything.. women, possessions,men,sick twisted perverted things,drugs,pain,pleasure, to hurt myself, to hurt others. I game myself to the desires of my flesh, of my mind, and of the devil. (we know anything not of God is of the devil and the things I was doing and thinking certinly were not of God.) in doing so i became bound with spirits and only God in His mercy and love could release me. praise God He did! no since He has freed me from my chains and saved my soul, i know His word says if i go back to serving the devil by doing the things Jesus blood freed me from then i will be bound again by devils and not only the ones i had but sevan worse than the first
Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Mat 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Mat 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
this is saying, if after God has delivered me, I go back to my old ways I will be brought back into bondage, and not only to where i was but 7 times worsebecause of other spirits brought in. how do we keep this by happening well if i've been delivered from drugs it's not simply by not doing drugs anymore, or anything i may have been delivered from for that matter, it's prevented by being filled with the Holy Spirit of God, and having a close relationship with Him. then when the spirits that were cast out try to come back in like a flood, thw Holy Spirit of God will raise up a standard against them and they will have to depart not being able to enter.
Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

I have personally witnessed this, I was sitting in my room reading a book, one afternoon I don't remember now it seems like only a couple months after i had been saved, when my eyes shut, and I saw without seeing this head, with like a trail behind it i thought it was me but it wasen't me it was just something i recognized, i knew it was dead whatever it was it got closer to me my eyes filled with tears, and the Holy Spirit rebuked the devil in Jesus name (that rebuking came from within me but not from my mind it happened quicker that i could have thought it) from beginning of what i described to the rebuking and it going away from me took less than a second. it all happened in what seemed like the blink of an eye. then came the devil saying your going to hell now, you just rebuked the Holy Spirit (immediatly after it was rebuked and i started trying to figure what had happened that voice came) let me tell you i was very shook up. i called my pastor and told him what had happened and that i thought it was the spirits that had been cast out ofme trying to come back then he gave me the isa 59:19, and told me that in my heart i knew what had happened. praise God! he also proceeded to tell me he had similer happen to him. I say all this to get the point across, I was wholly giving to what i loved, and now that God has saved my soul, i should be wholly given to Him, this dosen't mean saying "i love Jesus" then going and doing whatever we want to do.
1Jn_3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
this means submitting my will wholly to God giving Him my all.

this is a promise of God He will guide you and me in the ways we should God if WE seek. read Gods word cultivate your spiritual marriage to Christ.

the Bible says for us not to seek after our own things or to worry about whatever we may have going on, but look to Him. can not the One who hung the stars in the sky and put the waters in their place who seperated heaven and earth take care our our little needs!.........does this mean that i am never to have a family or a place to stay? no, i don't know what God has planned for you or me. but it means don't worry about those things, seek God first above all else to His will. the devil will try to get us so bound up in the what if's and the i need's and so focused on ourselves that we drift away from God because we are not focused on Him and when God comes to talk to us then we don't hear Him, and when we try to talk to God we can't hear him because we have gotten away from him, then here comes the devil attacking us to destroy our souls.... God wants us to always be close to Him. looking at what little we have or how we can't see how things are going to work out is a lack of faith on our part God is the God of impossibilities

matt 10:37. this dosen't mean that we don't love our family, but what it does mean is that I can not allow them to hinder me in my walk with God. if they are sinning, I can not partake of that sin. I have to be sferd et apart from all of that. If a choice were to come where I had to choose between serving God or making them happy, serving God must come first.

I tried to get saved, and the guy at the alter asked me if i got it, he said i would know when i got it and because i thought it was taken in faith i said yes because i just thought you asked and got up and beliueved and that was it.... i kept doing drugs and frnicating and sinning and eventually i stopped going to church roughly a year after that in my living room one eveining w a brother from church i felt God pulling at my heart and i knelt down an asked God to show me what to say and i just started saying what came to my mind, and talking to God as He gave me the words and fnally it came to me to rebuke devils in Jesus name, and when I did i remember the thought fleeing came to my mind my back got all tingly the devils left and the peace of God centered down in my soul and i laughed and said i got it and kept praying and praising God. i knelt down addicted to multiple drugs fornicating with two women one who was married smoking cigarretts and drinking addicted to porn and a thief with multiple psych disorders I stood up freed from all of those things.

matt 10:37. this dosen't mean that we don't love our family, but what it does mean is that I can not allow them to hinder me in my walk with God. if they are sinning, I can not partake of that sin. I have to be sferd et apart from all of that. If a choice were to come where I had to choose between serving God or making them happy, serving God must come first.
38 when Jesus went to the cross, He was sinless, and bore the sins of mankind. my sins. He is perfect, He is the almighty, He is the only begotton Son of God. yet for my sake He allowed Himself to be beaten spit on humiliated, slapped whipped mocked scorned scoffed at and nailed to a cross and sacrifced to bare my sin and transgression. not only mine but the whole worlds. He submitted His will to Gods will even when it was clear He would have rather not had to die He layed down His will for the will of God. I should do the exact same thing. I should submitt my will to God even if it isn't something that I want to do or there are things that i would rather be doing, if i know it is Gods will, I should put down my flesh and my self will and want in subjection to the will of God.
39 if I go a seeking after the desires of my flesh in this world, and seek to fulfill those even when in direct contradiction to the will of God, than I am not being obedient to God. that does not mean that it is okay to sin and do whatever you want. if we were still sinning and living however we wanted we would not be ore than concorers, we would still be in bondage to the devil. thank God the blood of Jesus delivered us from sin. all of you who are reading this, when you kneel before Jesus and ask Him to forgive oyur sin, there is such a thing as praying through, you keep praying and asking Him to show you what to say and how to say it and what it is you need to let go of, and you pray until the burden is lifted you will know when it happens.don't give up. back in the old days people would come sometime for days until they finally prayed through. please don't give up Jesus loves you and wants to save you and wants to deliver you from sin and lead you safely to heaven. yes they say you have to take it by faith, are you not stepping out in faith when you are asking God to forgive you fo your sins? when you ask, expect Him to aswere and keep praying until He does. I tried to get saved, and the guy at the alter asked me if i got it, he said i would know when i got it and because i thought it was taken in faith i said yes because i just thought you asked and got up and beliueved and that was it.... i kept doing drugs and frnicating and sinning and eventually i stopped going to church roughly a year after that in my living room one eveining w a brother from church i felt God pulling at my heart and i knelt down an asked God to show me what to say and i just started saying what came to my mind, and talking to God as He gave me the words and fnally it came to me to rebuke devils in Jesus name, and when I did i remember the thought fleeing came to my mind my back got all tingly the devils left and the peace of God centered down in my soul and i laughed and said i got it and kept praying and praising God. i knelt down addicted to multiple drugs fornicating with two women one who was married smoking cigarretts and drinking addicted to porn and a thief with multiple psych disorders I stood up freed from all of those things.

what isn't taken out right away God helps us with for instance He delivered me from all those things i mentioned but there were some things that i still needed Gods help with to get out of my heart and i am still learning and as i get more understanding and God shows me other things to get out of my life and to turn from and shows me things that i didn't know were issues or didn't realize were problems but now i se ethem i deal with them and with Gods help and much prayer and fasting i know I will be able to overcome them as well and be perfect as God see me. the Bible is our road map and the Holy Ghost our key to understanding the Bible stay honest and humble before Jesus. pray and seek His guidance you were saved by obeying God and coming to Jesus wich His word said for you to do if you don't continue to obey God and His word and continually come to him through Jesus it will be easy for the devil to bring oyu back into bondage.Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. read the Bible it is how we know what is right and wrong. matt 10:37. this dosen't mean that we don't love our family, but what it does mean is that I can not allow them to hinder me in my walk with God. if they are sinning, I can not partake of that sin. I have to be sferd et apart from all of that. If a choice were to come where I had to choose between serving God or making them happy, serving God must come first.
38 when Jesus went to the cross, He was sinless, and bore the sins of mankind. my sins. He is perfect, He is the almighty, He is the only begotton Son of God. yet for my sake He allowed Himself to be beaten spit on humiliated, slapped whipped mocked scorned scoffed at and nailed to a cross and sacrifced to bare my sin and transgression. not only mine but the whole worlds. I tried to get saved, and the guy at the alter asked me if i got it, he said i would know when i got it and because i thought it was taken in faith i said yes because i just thought you asked and got up and beliueved and that was it.... i kept doing drugs and frnicating and sinning and eventually i stopped going to church roughly a year after that in my living room one eveining w a brother from church i felt God pulling at my heart and i knelt down an asked God to show me what to say and i just started saying what came to my mind, and talking to God as He gave me the words and fnally it came to me to rebuke devils in Jesus name, and when I did i remember the thought fleeing came to my mind my back got all tingly the devils left and the peace of God centered down in my soul and i laughed and said i got it and kept praying and praising God. i knelt down addicted to multiple drugs fornicating with two women one who was married smoking cigarretts and drinking addicted to porn and a thief with multiple psych disorders I stood up freed from all of those things.

thats what will happen if after we have gotten saved (truely felt the burden lifted and been touched by God) and gone back into our old life and our old sins we will be much worse off than had we never known the way of truth.
Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

(just don't expect God to take care of you how you think.) because God is trying to lead you to heaven and eternal life. and keep you out of damnation and eternal hellfire.

Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
when I come up against something, and it is hard for me to overcome, or, I realize it's getting my attention more than it should, it's because there is something in me that isn't all the way right. If it were all the way right, then whateve the thing is wouldn't be getting my attention. When something is recognized in this way, God should be thanked for His mercy, and it should be immediatly delt with. It is God in His mercy and kindness showing us something isn't right, and giving us the chance to deal with it before it grows into something that causes us more trouble than it should.
Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin:and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
we shouldn't wait for something to become a problem...anotherwords i shouldn't wait until the devil has gotten a foothold.
what are some areas God is showing me to work on? by work on, I mean commit to Him, and turn from. (If God is showing me there are areas I need to work on, and I recognize that, I can pray for God to give me streangth to overcome all day long, but until I excersize that streanght it does me no good. sis lois sings the song prayer is the key to heaven, but faith unlocks the door. I can pray for streangth, pray for streangth, and plead with God for help, but if I dont step out in faith, beliving Gods promises then how will i ever know weather God sent the help? it's like this. when I was out in sin, God was right there, He saw everything I ever went through... I wasen't delivered from my sins until I knelt down, and asked Him to forgive me, and come into my life.... Rom_6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
I used to spend hours getting high, playing video games and listening to music. when i wasen't doing this i was seeking out drugs and how to get them, lying to people, using them to get what i wanted weather it was videogames, drugs, money, whatever I was just a bad guy. I spent alot of time paranoid, afraid to leave my house.
I spent my time talking about, and playing videogames, seeing if people had herd about the newest game what difficulty leval they played it on all the little details about that game. the xbox 360 had a thing known as a gamerscore...mine used to be my identity ... I devoted alot of hours building that score up, i remember one day, I thought my harddrive got erased and i lost my score....I was distraught. ...am I knocking videogames... no. what sayeth the word. as ye have yeilded your members servants to uncleaness and to iniquity even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.... what does this mean? well before I got saved my time was devoted to playing videogames, building my gamerscore talking to people about videogames, keeping up to date on when new games were coming out, when new maps came out not only keeping up to date, but learning all i could and informing others about what i'd learned sharing games an maps with people telling them about how great the game was or wasen't.
now that I am saved, I should be just as concerned about learning all i can about Jesus knowing how to be the best servant for Him i can be. not only that but i should be just as willing to share what I know about Jesus with people as i was to share what i knew about videogames. just as willing to put in countless hours learning about my Saviour and how to please Him, as i was willing to devote countless hours to to mastering game after game after game.
drug use
All that time I spent getting drugs, waiting on deals, driving to find drugs the risks i took selling making and using drugs I should be just as willing to devote to serving Jesus. I was a slave to my addictions, I didn't care what kind of danger i put myself in, to get drugs, and use them. going to prison didn't scare me, death didnt deture me i still used i still put my life at risk, all for the next high.i risked imprissonment and death to sell drugs to people, and to get the stuff to make and use drugs, I lied and stole and cheated people i was creative in how i ripped people off. I should be equally devoted to my service to my Lord and Saviour. what people think didn't stop me from getting using and selling my drugs, it now shouldn't stop me from serving , learning of, and telling people about Jesus. just because something looked scary or intimidating, didn't stop me from doing what needed to be done to get my fix, just because i'm outnumbered or i think someone dosen't look like they could get saved shouldn't stop me from telling them about Jesus and that He died for their sins and loves them just as much as He loves me. Not only that because I was a liar and a thief and was creative ripping people off, I should be honest with all men and instead of stealing, help out with whatever i can wherever i can. and i should be just as creative in spreading the gospel as I was conning people.
because I was parinoid and afraid to leave my house and i did all i could to avoid talking to people unless it served my agenda, I should now go out of my way to be concerned about other people cheer them up smile say a kind word, help when i can, and how i can.
there are alot more things that i was as a sinner, and I have to study this more in depth for myself, i only bring this to you all in hopes it helps you guys like i hope it helps me.
I am not talking about us willing ourselves to change, i am talking about me willing myself to serve God. we all know God dosen't alter our free will, He will not make us do something, He helps us along, and guides and directs us but we have to choose to serve Him or to serve self flesh and the devil every day.

this even still falls in line with things I did as a sinner. I used to blame others for my shortcomings, and there would be several reasons why i failed at something, or had problems with something, but none of them would be me. now that I am saved, I take responsibility for my actions. I used to run from my problems, and try to hide from them and try to cover up my shortcomings. now I face my problems, and deal with them as soon as I can.
I don't want to get this confused, I say i i i but i know that I can only do these things because Christ has come in and made a change in my heart mind and soul. it is because I am under His blood I am able to do these things. But I still have to choose to make the right choice.
Rom_6:16 Know e not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
the flesh will pull on us often, but thats where dying daily comes in. we have wants and desires, things we would rather do, things that seem more fun at the time, but we yield out will to His, realize our lives are not our own and do what we know deep down we should do instead of what seems fun or enticing, or more pleasing at the time.
served self (how) --- did those things that i thought were the most fun, whatever my flesh wanted to do. I knew no boundries. I held nothing back. there was nothing to taboo I gladly tried anything. so now serving God, I should give Him my all, I should hold nothing back, there should be nothing He asks of me that i'm not willing to let go of. just as i egerly sought for new things to try, so should i now eagerly seek for new ways to draw closer and grow deeper in Him.

James 1:14 But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
The things that are a temptation to me, may not be to someone else. The
situations that are a trial for me, may not be for someone else.
God knows my heart. He sees the things I need to have removed in order
to draw closer to Him. Not only to draw closer, but to get to a place where I can
be used by Him. John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;
so shall ye be my desciples. I need to allow God to mold me, and shape me
through trials and temptations. I am not that God brings the trials, and
temptations. However, He does allow them. Already knowing the outcome and
how it will help me grow. Purging me so I can produce more fruit.
Everything the devil means for bad, God uses for our good.
Temptations can come in alot of different forms. The one I am currently seeing
and batteling are choices. Example: I know I need to be studying, but I don't
want people in my life to feel abandoned, or to think I am being rude. So
instead of studying, I spend time with them. Some would say that isn't all bad.
At the moment I agree with them. However, there is a time for everything. If you
know you need to study, or have evening devotion, and you put God off to not
upset people. Your priorities are off.
Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
If I am really concerned about their soul, and mine, the best thing I can do for
them is to consistantly live the Truth before them. Inorder to do that my
relationship with the Lord has to be my number one priority. Always.
Then when they ask me to pray for them, and they will. I can pray
the prayer of faith knowing God will hear and answer, and get the glory. I am
seeing temptations comeing up as I am presented with choices throughout the
day. The choices I make need to be in line with the Word and the Spirit. If you
just go by one or the other you will quickly be misled. 2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
The devil uses scripture, and will try to get you to feel good when you should feel
bad, and bad when you should feel good. Thats why we don't go by feeling. It is so
important to have the two witnesses, to be sure we are not being led astray.
Looking back on some struggels, trials, and teptations I have gone through. After
acusing the devil of trying to bring me into bondage,and rebuking him, then
trying to go the way I wanted to and still not finding peace. I wonder how
much of that temptation turned trial was my refusal to submit my will
in that situation to God, and be obedient to Him.Looking back I see the way I
initially thought I should go was the best way. But I didn't want to so I
said it 's bondage, it must be the devil. Then as I continued on the temptation
became a trial because it was an area of will i was not ready to submitt to God.
Thank the Lord for His mercy, longsuffering, and kindness. When I am presented
with a choice, and something is telling me I need to go a certin way I need to
verify it's God by His Word and His Spirit. It is ok to wait on God. Mat_7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Once I identify it is God, the we need to obey and not put it off. Even if it means
layingdown our will, preferance, and choice in any situation. The more I do that
the more scripture I will learn, and the more I will see the bible as a practicle road
map for life. Also the closer I will get to the Lord, and and the more of His Spirit
I will have, because I am walking circumspectly (carefully) and obeying Him. As
all that happens I believe God will tame my tongue, because I am growing closer
to Him and Him to me. James 4:8 Draw night to God and He will draw nigh to

in response to repeantbeforeitstolate... it's not about just trying to follow Gods words. john 3:3 verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. after being saved anf forgivin of your sins you have to turn from your sins. see rom 6:14-23 for sin shall not have dominion over you:for ye are not under the law,but under grace. what then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law,but under grace? “Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.”

War always will rage between the two great sovereignties until one or other be crushed. Peace between good and evil is an impossibility; the very pretence of it would, in fact, be the triumph of the powers of darkness. Michael will always fight; his holy soul is vexed with sin, and will not endure it. Jesus will always be the dragon’s foe, and that not in a quiet sense, but actively, vigorously, with full determination to exterminate evil. All his servants, whether angels in heaven or messengers on earth, will and must fight; they are born to be warriors-at the cross they enter into covenant never to make truce with evil; they are a warlike company, firm in defence and fierce in attack. The duty of every soldier in the army of the Lord is daily, with all his heart, and soul, and strength, to fight against the dragon.
The dragon and his angels will not decline the affray; they are incessant in their onslaughts, sparing no weapon, fair or foul. We are foolish to expect to serve God without opposition: the more zealous we are, the more sure are we to be assailed by the myrmidons of hell. The church may become slothful, but not so her great antagonist; his restless spirit never suffers the war to pause; he hates the woman’s seed, and would fain devour the church if he could. The servants of Satan partake much of the old dragon’s energy, and are usually an active race. War rages all around, and to dream of peace is dangerous and futile.
Glory be to God, we know the end of the war. The great dragon shall be cast out and for ever destroyed, while Jesus and they who are with him shall receive the crown. Let us sharpen our swords to-night, and pray the Holy Spirit to nerve our arms for the conflict. Never battle so important, never crown so glorious. Every man to his post, ye warriors of the cross, and may the Lord tread Satan under your feet shortly!

“And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The Lord is able to give thee much more than this.”

A very important question this seemed to be to the king of Judah, and possibly it is of even more weight with the tried and tempted O Christian. To lose money is at no times pleasant, and when principle involves it, the flesh is not always ready to make the sacrifice. “Why lose that which may be so usefully employed? May not the truth itself be bought too dear? What shall we do without it? Remember the children, and our small income!” All these things and a thousand more would tempt the Christian to put forth his hand to unrighteous gain, or stay himself from carrying out his conscientious convictions, when they involve serious loss. All men cannot view these matters in the light of faith; and even with the followers of Jesus, the doctrine of “we must live” has quite sufficient weight.
The Lord is able to give thee much more than this is a very satisfactory answer to the anxious question. Our Father holds the purse-strings, and what we lose for his sake he can repay a thousand-fold. It is ours to obey his will, and we may rest assured that he will provide for us. The Lord will be no man’s debtor at the last. Saints know that a grain of heart’s-ease is of more value than a ton of gold. He who wraps a threadbare coat about a good conscience has gained a spiritual wealth far more desirable than any he has lost. God’s smile and a dungeon are enough for a true heart; his frown and a palace would be hell to a gracious spirit. Let the worst come to the worst, let all the talents go, we have not lost our treasure, for that is above, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God. Meanwhile, even now, the Lord maketh the meek to inherit the earth, and no good thing doth he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

in response to ekikaseven... praise God. thank you for the encouragment i belive what i said was inpired by God. i prayed for something to say that would be encouraging, and that was the only thing that came to mind. the truth is the only way to go. not being honest dosen't help anyone.

in response to Sweet Pea Angel Baby... it's not a matter of like or dislike. i think it's heartbreaking that people who already are hurting for cash are encouraged to spend money they don't have on stuff that ultimatly isn't important. when that is never what the holiday was ment to be about....
